Acceleration Training Program

Dickinson State University, a proud member of the Athletic Republic, is proud to provide you with the most advanced sports performance training program available.

The FRAPPIER ACCELERATION SPORTS TRAINING PROGRAM is the featured training program at the Ben C. Frank Human Performance Center. The program is an intense 6 to 8 week program designed to improve an athlete’s quickness, agility, flexibility, sprint speed, muscle strength, anaerobic power, and overall confidence. The program has trained over 1 million athletes worldwide. On average, those athletes have seen an improvement in 40 yard dash times of .2 of a second, improvements of over 3” in vertical jump, and 7-8” in a standing long jump. Obviously, results will vary by athlete.

Following an extensive evaluation of musculoskeletal strength, flexibility and gait, the athlete begins participation in the program. The program consists of three basic components:

* 1-2 Treadmill runs per week

* 1-2 Plyometric training sessions

* Strength training prescriptions specifically targeting muscles in and about the hip girdle and legs.

Each workout is unique and provides a very systematic progression of overload designed to peak the athlete for the first day of practice.

Workouts are scheduled for Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Depending upon the day, workouts last from 75 to 90 minutes.

Training sessions will begin on Monday, June 5 and will be completed on Friday, July 28.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, JUNE 2, 2017. PRE-TRAINING EVALUATIONS WILL BEGIN JUNE 5.

THE COST OF THE PROGRAM IS $350.00. This will include all pre-and post-test evaluations and training sessions.
